Mrs. Edwards, as the beneficiary in a policy of fraternal life-insurance issued by the Fraternal Belief Association, a corporation of the State of Virginia, brought suit against the association for $2,000, which, under the policy, was to be paid upon the death of her husband, James B. Edwards, who was a member of the association. It will not be necessary to state all the facts. The following will be sufficient: The policy was issued in 1903.
