On the 4th of May, 1841, a suit was instituted in the laté Commercial Court of New Orleans, by James W. Zacharie & Co. against Francis C. Black, in which certain shares of the stock of the Gas Light and Banking Company and of the Carrollton Railroad and Banking Company, were attached.
