The plaintiff alleges that being sheriff of the county of *Monmouth, he levied an execution on the goods and [*219 chattels of one Samuel P. Wyckoff, and that the defendants entering afterwards on the premises where the goods and «chattels were left, took them away and converted them to *260their own use.
