HOFFMAN, Presiding Judge.

William Jack VanDerberg appeals the trial court’s denial of his petition for post-conviction relief under Ind.Rules of Procedure, Post-Conviction Rule 1. Issues raised in this appeal are:(1) whether VanDerberg’s guilty plea was knowingly, intelligently and voluntarily entered;(2) whether a sufficient factual basis for the guilty plea was established; and(3) whether VanDerberg was denied his right to the effective assistance of counsel.
