|gThe Parish of St. Charles appeals from a ruling of the trial court granting plaintiffs’ exception of prescription. Plaintiffs filed a motion to dismiss this appeal on the basis that it did not constitute a final judgment. This motion was referred to the merits by this Court on October 27, 2008. For the reasons stated herein, we vacate the trial court’s ruling and remand the case for further proceedings.
