This matter came before the court on Defendants, The Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, M. Thomas Shaw, Barbara C. Harris, and Roy F. Cederholm’s (“the diocesan defendants”) motion for summary judgment. The plaintiff, Carolyn Petrell (“Petrell”), claims that the defendant, August A.
