This is an appeal from a judgment of the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis entered on a jury verdict awarding plaintiff-respondent $20,000.00 for injuries allegedly sustained when he slipped and fell on the steps of the entrance to the defendants-appellants’ Union Hall situated at 3710 Enright in the City of St. Louis. Plaintiff, a member of the Union, brought suit against John Sheehan, President, and Paul Pelker, business representative, individually and as representatives of a class constituting the entire membership of the Laborer’s International Union of North America,…
