These two certiorari proceedings, designated Nos. 1 and 2, respectively, were instituted to review certain real estate assessments made by appellants, the assessors of the city of Meehan*262icville, for the year 1933. Proceeding No. 1 was begun in the name of one Rogers. Proceeding No. 2 was commenced by Rickey, as receiver of the Manufacturers National Bank. Thereafter, by stipulation, Rickey, as receiver, was substituted in place of Rogers.
