Appellant, John B. DeVore, was convicted by a jury of one count of armed bank robbery in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2113(a), (b), and (d) (1987); one count of using a deadly weapon in the commission of a violent federal crime in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c); and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(h). 1 The district court 2 sentenced DeVore to a total of fifteen years’ imprisonment.
