STATON, Presiding Judge.

Robert Williams was convicted of Robbery, a Class B felony 1 and found to be an habitual offender. 2 His sentence of ten (10) years was enhanced by thirty (80) years on the habitual offender finding. The conviction and sentence were affirmed by the Indiana Supreme Court on March 3, 1982. Williams v. State (1982) Ind., 431 N.E.2d 793.

On March 4, 1983 Williams filed his pro se Petition for Post Conviction Relief challenging the validity of the habitual offender finding and sentence enhancement. The State conceded error and the trial court vacated the habitual offender…
