An information filed in the municipal court charged that on December 14, 1930, defendant, Phil Ferron, “did then and there unlawfully keep a common gaming house then and there situated at 17 W. Quincy street, within the City of Chicago, County of Cook and State of Illinois, and did then and there permit certain persons to come together and play at a certain game of chance for money and other valuable thing,” contrary to the form of the statute, etc. There was a motion to quash the information, which was denied, and a motion to suppress the evidence, which was overruled.
