The salient allegations of plaintiff’s petition were these; that defendant is and at all times mentioned was a corporation engaged in the business of transporting property as a common carrier; that on June 16, 1934, at Wright, Iowa, plaintiff delivered to defendant for transportation and shipment to Coburn, Nebraska a purebred Perdieron stallion owned by plaintiff, that was of the value of $800; that defendant…
