Plaintiff, Dorothy Page, was the mother of Almetrius Matthews (employee). She sued defendants Clark Refining & Marketing, Inc. (employer), Frank Moll and Linda Knouse, supervisory employees of employer, for the wrongful death of her daughter. She alleged defendants were negligent for failure to provide adequate security to protect her daughter who was shot and killed while working at a Clark service station.
