Following the denial of its application for rezoning, plaintiff, La Salle National Bank & Trust Company, as trustee, brought this action against the county of Cook, seeking declaratory and injunctive relief from the county’s zoning ordinance as applied to the property that is the subject of the land trust. The village of Arlington Heights, which borders the subject property, sought and was permitted, unopposed, to intervene as a defendant.
