ARREST — SEARCHES AND SEIZURES The police had probable cause to arrest the defendant for driving under the influence (DUI) based on the officer’s smell of the odor of alcohol, defendant’s admission to drinking a large amount of an alcoholic beverage, and defendant’s flight from police.
