This is an original mandamus proceeding.

On February 1, 1974 Bill Thompson filed in this court a petition asking for the issuance of the writ of mandamus to the Honorable James D. Buck, Judge of the Circuit Court of Tuscaloosa County, requiring him to recuse himself from the trial of the case styled Thompson v.
