INGRAHAM, Circuit Judge:
Alfred Nathaniel Hollis had been charged in a complaint with possession of stolen mail and uttering a United States treasury check with a forged endorsement, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 1708 and 495. He was convicted by a jury and sentenced to a term of 4 years imprisonment. He. has appealed asserting two lines of error committed below.
