In this case a libel in personam has been filed hy the Sun Company, owner of a quantity of oil in barrels, against the Philadelphia Transportation & Lighterage Company, hereinafter referred to as the transportation company, and Jesse Gray, owner of the barge Jesse Gray, hereinafter referred to as the barge, resulting from the loss of a number of barrels of oil caused by the sinking of the barge.
