MONROE, Judge.

Margaret Sweat, individually and as executrix of the estate of her deceased husband, Dale Sweat, sued Prudential Insurance Company and AmSouth Bank, Inc., alleging several claims arising out of what Sweat characterizes as an improper refusal to pay credit life insurance benefits. Prudential and AmSouth moved for a summary judgment; Sweat opposed their motion. After a hearing, the trial court entered a summary judgment in favor of Prudential and AmSouth. Sweat appealed to the Alabama Supreme Court, which deflected the case to this court pursuant to § 12-2-7(6), Ala.Code 1975.…
