Jeffrey Demars was convicted of one felony count and one misdemeanor count of issuance of a worthless check, pursuant to sec. 943.24, Stats. He was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment on the felony count and nine months concurrently on the misdemeanor count. Thereafter, Demars sought an order of the trial court crediting eighty-three days of presentence confinement against his sentence. The trial court denied the request.
