This appeal arises from an action in which Chester E. Williams and Rita K. Williams sued Katherine G. Moore to quiet title to a tract of property (“the disputed property”). Moore counterclaimed against the Williamses, seeking to quiet title to the disputed property and alleging trespass to that property. Moore claims to own the property by descent from her father, Alvin Garrick, and through a separate chain of title to that claimed by the Williamses.
