Plaintiff brought suit against defendants to recover damages for personal injuries. There was a verdict and judgment in his favor for $5,500, to reverse which • defendants prosecute this appeal.
Between 7:30 and 8:00 o’clock on the evening of September 1, 1917, plaintiff, a boy 11 years old, was riding in the rear end- of a grocer’s delivery wagon which was being driven east in Oakdale avenue, and as the wagon was crossing the west or southbound street car track in Sheffield avenue one of defendants’ cars coming from the north in Sheffield avenue struck the rear end of the wagon.
