BRIGHT, District Judge.
This proceeding is brought to determine the just compensation to be paid for the taking by the Government of 1.23 acres of land owned by the County of Westchester and .798 acres owned by the City *58of New Rochelle. These two parcels front on Long Island Sound in the City of New Rochelle, at or near the dock owned and operated by the Government in connection with Fort Slocum. They are taken for the purpose, among others, to provide accommodations for parking automobiles of army and civilian employees at the Fort.
