—In a proceeding pursuant to CPLR article 78 to review a determination of the Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Nassau County, which denied the petitioner’s application for retroactive membership in the New York State Teachers’ Retirement System, the petitioner appeals from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (O’Connell, J.), entered September 12, 1997, which denied the petition and dismissed the proceeding.
Ordered that the judgment is affirmed, with costs.
