STATEMENT OF CASE

On April 22, 2005, the State filed a bill of information charging Darell James and other codefendants with one count each of possession of twenty-eight to two hundred grams of cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, and possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine.1 At his arraignment on May 2, James pled not guilty to all charges.
