Appeal from a decision of the Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board, filed October 20, 2011, which ruled that claimant’s request for a hearing was untimely.

The Department of Labor issued an initial determination on April 13, 2010 denying claimant’s application for unemployment insurance benefits on the ground that she lost her employment due to misconduct. Claimant requested a hearing with respect to this determination on June 18, 2010.
