Following the trial court’s denial of his motion to dismiss, Curtis Howard entered a conditional guilty plea to three counts of incest, one count of first-degree sexual abuse, and to being- a first-degree persistent felony offender (PFO) and was sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment, 1 The charges arose from allegations that Howard had sexual intercourse with his adult stepdaughter.
