The State’s Attorney for Prince George’s County filed a petition to adjudicate the appellant in contempt of court for divulging and selling testimony of the grand jury for Prince George’s County to a member of the public. An evidentiary hearing was held in the circuit court for that county on October 18, 1969, Digges, C.J., presiding. The appellant neither took the stand nor offered any evidence in his own behalf, but relied upon as his defense the doctrine of Purgation by Oath.
