Christopher Moser, bankruptcy trustee for Stanley Thaw, and Kernell Thaw, Stanley’s spouse, both appeal two decisions of the district court ruling that § 52.042 of the Texas Property Code did not cancel and release the judgment lien that Leslie Schachar held on Thaw’s property and that the Thaws had not established a homestead exemption in their Brandywine property.
