Appellant and Defendant below, Jim Jones, appeals the November 4, 2002, order of the Circuit Court of Greenbrier County in which he received 1 year of probation and 100 days of confinement in the Southern Regional Jail for the offenses of receiving stolen property in an amount less than $1,000 and conspiracy to receive stolen property in an amount less than $1,000. Appellant alleges that the trial judge violated his constitutional right against self-incrimination by requiring him to admit criminal responsibility in order to avoid the 100 days of incarceration.
