Defendant-appellant, Tina Springer, appeals her conviction in Jefferson County Court, District Number One, on one count of falsification, in violation of R.C. 2921.13(A)(8).

On September 19, 1996, appellant made a report to the Saline Township Police Department that she had been raped somewhere on Highway 213 in Saline Township. Both the Saline Township Police Department and the Jefferson County Sheriffs Office investigated the alleged incident but no arrests were made.
