Some time prior to February 17, 1900, an action was commenced by these plaintiffs against this defendant in the district court of Jefferson county. On the last-mentioned date an amended complaint was filed, to which a general demurrer was interposed, but overruled, and defendant then answered. Thereupon defendant made a motion for judgment on the pleadings, which was sustained, and a judgment entered dismissing *570the action.
