SMITH, Judge.

Defendant appeals from his conviction by a jury of forcible rape and the fifteen year prison term imposed by the court upon the jury’s failure to agree on punishment. We affirm.

Defendant’s first point is that the evidence was insufficient to support the verdict. This arises under the “plain error” doctrine because of defendant’s failure to file a motion for directed verdict at the close of the entire case.
