Reversing.

The question involved upon this appeal is, may the record of the fiscal court be impeached by parol testimony in a collateral proceeding. The facts out of which this litigation grows are, as follows: Claude Desha was the clerk of the Harrison county court. His term of office expired January 1, 1906. A few days before the end of his term as clerk he collected from the county treasurer, on a voucher payable to himself, the sum of $396.á2.
