The first question is whether this conviction of robbery in the first degree should be invalidated under the rule of Escobedo v. State of Illinois, 378 U.S. 478, 84 S.Ct. 1758, 12 L.Ed.2d 977, Gideon v. Wain wright, 372 U.S. 335, 83 S.Ct. 792, 9 L.Ed. 2d 799, 93 A.L.R.2d 733 and United States ex rel. Russo v. New Jersey, 3 Cir., 351 F.2d 429. After his arrest appellant was interrogated by police officers.
