Pursuant to statute, decisions of our supreme court govern the holdings and deci*395sions of this court. See Ala.Code 1975, § 12-3-16. Likewise, when the supreme court has not decided a particular question of law that is before this court but has indicated in dicta what it would decide if the question came before it, this court is bound to follow such indication.
