The defendant appeals from a judgment entered on a verdict by the jury for five thousand dollars for damages based on an action for malpractice.

Mabel Dennis brought her action against Lottie R. Mc-Arthur, sanipractic physician, practicing in Seattle. The spouses of the parties were joined in the action, but for simplicity Mabel Dennis and Lottie R. McArthur, who practices under the name of Lottie R. Boulls, will be referred to as if they were the sole respondent and appellant, respectively.
