Following a jury trial in the Circuit Court for Wicomico *488County, appellant, Cory Jamaul Jones1, was convicted of attempted first degree murder, first degree assault, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, and related offenses.2

In his timely appeal, appellant presents the following questions, as slightly rephrased, for our consideration:
