OPINION

DUNCAN, Judge.

The defendant, Henry Cole, Jr., was convicted of assault with intent to commit robbery by the use of a deadly weapon and received a penitentiary sentence of not less than 8 years nor more than 20 years. (T.C.A. § 39-607). He was also convicted of employing a firearm in the commission of a felony, for which offense he received a penitentiary sentence of not less than 1 year nor more than 3 years. (T.C.A. § 39-4914). Additionally, he was convicted of carrying a pistol with the intent to go armed and was sentenced to the workhouse for 11 months and 29 days and a $50.00 fine.…
