Plaintiff-appellant John J. O’Connor appeals from an order granting a motion to dismiss his complaint against defendants-ap-pellees “The Diocese of Honolulu” (the Diocese), 1 Joseph A. Ferrario, then-Bishop of the Diocese, and Joseph Bukoski, III, Judicial Vicar of the Diocese (collectively, appel-lees). For reasons discussed below, we affirm.
