Following S. S.’s conviction and life sentence for felony murder and armed robbery, the Athens-Clarke County Department of Family & Children Services (DFCS) petitioned to terminate her parental rights to her three children, D. L. S. (age eight), A. T. H. (age seven), and J. D. E. (age six). Following a hearing, the trial court terminated S. S.’s parental rights with respect to A. T. H. and J. D.
