Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Lakritz, J.), rendered August 14, 1984, convicting him of criminal posses*458sion of a controlled substance in the third degree (two counts), upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.
Judgment affirmed.
It is settled that evidence of uncharged crimes may be admitted when the prior crime is directly probative of the crime charged (see, People v Jackson, 39 NY2d 64).
