Briefly the undisputed facts are that the defendant, by one of its drivers, on December 20, 1955, at the vaults of the Chase Manhattan Bank, 535 Fifth Avenue, New York City, picked up a shipment of crude platinum in a box weighing approximately 50 pounds directed to Bishop & Co., Málveme, Pa.
