RATTIGAN, J.

A jury found appellant Wendy Masako Yoshimura guilty of unlawful possession of explosives, of a machine gun, and of substances and materials with the intent to make destructive devices and explosives. She appeals from the judgment of conviction.

Appellant and three codefendants (William Brandt, Michael Bortin and Paul Rubenstein) were initially accused of these crimes in a four-count indictment returned by the Alameda County Grand Jury in 1972. They were jointly charged in count one with possession of explosives on March 30, 1972, in violation of Health and Safety Code…
