Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Schneier, J.), rendered May 2, 1985, convicting him of sodomy in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. The appeal brings up for review the denial (Owens, J.), without a hearing, of the defendant’s motions to dismiss the indictment on the ground that he was denied his right to a speedy trial.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.
