Following a bench trial, the trial court found Jimmy Ross Scott (“Defendant”) guilty of the statutory rape and statutory sodomy of G.P. (“Victim”), see sections 566.034 and 566.064, respectively.1 The trial court sentenced Defendant to five years’ imprisonment in the Department of Corrections on each offense with the sentences to run concurrently.
