MEMORANDUM OPINION
ALBRITTON, Chief Judge.
I.INTRODUCTION
This case is before the court on a Motion to Remand (Doc. # 3) filed by the Plaintiff Mary Jean Merritt (the “Plaintiff’) on June 5, 2000. This case was originally filed by the Plaintiff in the Circuit Court of Pike County, Alabama on October 13, 1999 alleging claims against Mazda Motor of America, Inc., Mazda Motor Corporation, and Charlie Merritt (“Merritt”).
