Plaintiff Ramona Cole (“Cole”) filed a complaint against defendants Pathmark of Fairlawn (“Pathmark”), her former employer, Supermarkets General Corporation (“Supermarkets General”), the parent corporation of Pathmark, and Thomas Caffrey (“Caffrey”), a security guard at Pathmark alleging several claims arising out of her arrest for shoplifting in the store and the subsequent termination of her employment.
