In this negligence action to recover damages for injuries allegedly sustained in an automobile accident, plaintiff, John A. Pi-nell, Jr., appeals from the judgment entered in favor of defendant, Julia LaMeck McCrary. We affirm.

At trial, plaintiff claimed that he had suffered permanent injuries to his neck, back, and hip, and he sought only noneco-nomic damages for pain and suffering, inconvenience, and loss of enjoyment of life.
