OPINION
BECKER, Circuit Judge.
This is a products liability case. 1 The plaintiff, Stanley Wagner, received serious injuries to his head and left leg when a Five Degree Commander Wheel Assembly manufactured by defendant Firestone Tire and Rubber Company exploded while he was changing a truck tire. The case was tried to a jury, which made a number of relevant findings. The jury rejected Wagner’s contention that the wheel assembly was defective in design.
